Help
Everything you need to document a job and send your customer a report.
Getting started
- Sign in with Google. Your free trial starts immediately: 14 days, or 3 months for the first 10 businesses during our beta. No card is needed.
- Enter your business name and, if you like, the phone number and email customers should use to reach you. They appear on every report, as tap-to-call and tap-to-email links. You can change them later in Settings.
Documenting a job
- Tap New job. Choose a customer and property, or add new ones, and enter the service date and what you agreed to clean. In the job, these fold into a one-line summary; tap Edit details to change them.
- Add the areas you cleaned. Tap a suggestion such as Driveway or Patio, or type your own. A job can have up to 10 areas.
- For each area, add Before, After, and any Condition photos. The first before and after photos are the lead pair shown side by side; tap the star on another photo to make it the lead. After a before photo, the bottom button moves you on to the After photo, then the next area. To rename, reorder, or remove an area, tap … beside its name.
- Mark the area completed, partly done, or not serviced. If it isn’t completed, explain what remains. If you don’t have a before or after photo, say why; the report shows your explanation instead. An area you didn’t service needs no after photo.
Your work saves automatically. For a customer you’ve served before, open them under Customers and tap Start another job here. It reuses the address, scope, and area names, but never old photos, notes, or outcomes.
Photos
- JPEG, PNG, WebP, and iPhone HEIC photos, up to 15 MB each and 20 per job.
- HEIC photos work on iPhone and in Safari on a Mac. Other browsers can’t open them yet: export the photo as JPEG, or add it from your iPhone.
- Your original files are kept unchanged and private. Customers see a resized copy without camera details such as location.
- If your signal drops, RinseNote retries the upload by itself and waits while you’re offline. If an upload still fails, tap the retry button on that photo. If you close the app mid-upload, add that photo again; your notes are already saved.
Publishing and sharing
- Tap Preview to see exactly what your customer will see. The report checklist tells you if anything is missing.
- Publish creates the report and its PDF. Share it from your phone’s share menu, copy the link, or download the PDF.
- Anyone with the link can view that report, so send it only to your customer. You can turn the link off at any time, but PDFs already downloaded can’t be recalled.
- Edits after publishing don’t change what your customer sees. Publish an update to send the new version: it gets a new link and the old one turns off.
If something goes wrong
- “This job was changed on another device.” You edited the same job in two places. Tap Load the latest version to continue from the saved copy.
- “Not saved.” Check your connection and tap Try again. Keep the page open until it says Saved.
Plan, billing, and your data
- The trial includes 10 published jobs, or 300 during the 3-month beta given to the first 10 businesses. After it, RinseNote is $49/month for up to 100 published jobs a month. Subscribe and manage billing in Settings.
- Cancel anytime from Manage billing; you keep access to the end of the month you paid for.
- If a payment fails, use Manage billing to update your payment method. It stays available after the payment grace period ends and your account becomes read-only.
- Without an active plan, your account is read-only. You can view and export everything for 30 days, after which your jobs, photos, and reports are deleted and their links stop working.
- Export all data in Settings downloads your records, original photos, and published PDFs. Delete account turns off every link immediately and starts data removal and subscription cancellation. Your account stays locked while this finishes.
