Before-and-after report apps for pressure washing, compared
If you run a pressure-washing or soft-washing business and want to send customers their job photos as one report, these are the main options.
We make RinseNote, one of the tools below, so weigh our view accordingly. Features and prices come from each company’s public website, checked October 10, 2026. We haven’t tested the other products, and prices change, so confirm on their sites.
The short answer
- For preparing a report after each job: RinseNote, WorkReceipt, or ProofShot Pro.
- Reports as part of quoting, scheduling, and billing: WashOps or Housecall Pro.
- Photo documentation for several crews or trades: CompanyCam.
- A few jobs a month: texting photos may be enough.

RinseNote
Good fit if: You want each job to end with one clear report: photos for every area, what was done, and anything left, under your business name.
Keep in mind: It only makes reports. There is no quoting, scheduling, invoicing, or crew accounts, and photos upload over a connection rather than syncing later from offline.

WorkReceipt
Good fit if: You would rather talk than type, and you’re comfortable reviewing AI-written wording before it goes to the customer.
Keep in mind: PDF export starts on a paid plan, and logo branding on the $59 plan.
ProofShot Pro
Good fit if: You want a general before-and-after tool with templates and AI captions.
Keep in mind: It is built for many trades, so check how it handles several areas on one property.
WashOps
Good fit if: You also want square-foot quoting and billing in the same app.
Keep in mind: The report is one part of a larger system you would adopt.
Housecall Pro
Good fit if: You already run scheduling and invoicing in Housecall Pro.
Keep in mind: If you already pay for it, try its photo reports before adding another tool. Check which plan includes them.
CompanyCam
Good fit if: Several crews or trades need to capture and organize lots of photos, including without reception.
Keep in mind: It does much more than a report, at a higher price.
Texting photos from your camera roll
Good fit if: You do a few jobs a month and customers are happy with photos in a text.
Keep in mind: Photos and notes stay scattered across messages rather than collected in one report.
How to choose
Most of these tools produce a branded report with a link or PDF, so the difference is in the details. Try your top two on the same real job:
- Count the steps and minutes from your last photo to a sent report.
- Add a job with several areas, such as a driveway, walkway, and house wash, and one area you couldn’t finish.
- Leave out a before photo and see how the report handles it. Does it let you explain, or does it imply a full comparison?
- Open the link on another phone, without an account, and download the PDF.
- Check whether software you already pay for includes reports.
One more difference: RinseNote reports only the photos you took. It doesn’t generate, retouch, or caption them, and it doesn’t claim to prove when the work was done; the service date is the one you enter.
