Terms of service

Last updated September 27, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Alex Gammell (“we”) for using RinseNote. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

RinseNote lets a cleaning business record jobs, photos, and notes, and share reports with its customers as web pages and PDFs. Each account is for one business and is used by one person, signing in with Google.

Trial and payment

  • New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required; during our beta, the first 10 businesses get 90 days free instead. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
  • A subscription costs $49 per month (plus any applicable tax), charged in advance through Stripe, and renews monthly until you cancel.
  • You can cancel anytime in Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for; we don’t issue partial refunds.
  • If a payment fails, you keep editing for 7 days while you update your payment method. After that your account is read-only.
  • We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.

Limits

Plans include limits on published jobs and storage, shown in Settings and on our pricing. Reaching a limit stops new publications or uploads; it never deletes your work.

Your content

  • You own the photos, notes, and information you add. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only to provide the service, including showing reports to people you share them with.
  • You’re responsible for having the right to upload and share your content, and for its accuracy. Don’t present photos or dates as something they aren’t.
  • Report links can be opened by anyone who has them. Share them with care and turn them off when they’re no longer needed.

Acceptable use

Don’t use RinseNote to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious files, or attempt to access other accounts or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Ending your account

You can export your data and delete your account at any time in Settings. If your trial or subscription ends, your account becomes read-only and your content is deleted 30 days later, as described in our privacy page.

What RinseNote doesn’t do

Reports record what you enter and upload. RinseNote doesn’t verify when or whether work was done, and reports aren’t a guarantee, certification, or legal proof of service.

Service and liability

We work to keep RinseNote available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is,” without warranties to the extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify account holders before they apply; continuing to use RinseNote after that means you accept them.
