Pressure washing job report template
A job report tells your customer what you cleaned, shows before and after photos of each area, and says plainly what’s left and why. Here’s what to include, with a free printable template.
Two printable US Letter pages with room for six areas. Copy and change it as you like; no sign-up needed.
What to include
- Your business and how to reach you. Name, phone, and email, so the customer or property manager knows who to call with a question or to book again.
- Customer, property, and service date. Write the date you did the work. Photos record what you saw, but a phone’s timestamp isn’t proof of when the job happened, so don’t present it that way.
- What you agreed to clean. One line, such as “House wash, driveway, and back patio.” It frames the rest of the report and heads off “I thought you were doing the fence.”
- Each area, with before and after photos. Name the area, add the before and after photos, and mark it completed, partly done, or not serviced. One clear pair per area beats twenty photos in a row.
- What’s left, and why. Say plainly what didn’t come out, such as an old oil stain, rust, or etching, and why. It’s better coming from you than noticed later.
- Missing photos. If you forgot a before photo, say so instead of leaving a gap or using a photo from another job.
- Notes and next steps. Anything the customer should expect, such as wet patches that dry in a few hours, and a recommended next service. Add your review or booking link if you use one.
Before-and-after photos that compare well
- Take the before photo first, before you set up hoses or move furniture.
- Shoot the after from the same spot and angle, so the two line up.
- Get the whole area in frame, then add a close-up of anything you mention in your notes.
- Use your own photos from this job only. Don’t edit them to look cleaner than the surface is.
Sending it
A link opens on any phone, and a PDF is easy to file or forward, which helps when the customer is a property manager. A short text works with either:
Or build it on your phone
The template works on paper, but you still have to match photos to areas yourself. RinseNote does that on your phone: add photos by area, mark what’s done, note anything left, and your customer gets a link and a PDF with your business name on it. See how it compares with other report apps.
